/prog/, is it possible for a person to know how to code and program computers before knowing how to read and write in English (or any other natural language)? Is there an example of, maybe, a savant with extraordinary talents in the field, but is, otherwise, social inept?

To most English speaking people, a string is something you can tie into knots or roll up into yarns. And most English speaking 「programmers」 live in blissfull ignorance of the term's mathematical definition.

I knew an illiterate guy in high school.
He was a huge worthless white trash whale, and he used to sell cigarettes to niggers in the bathroom. Everyone hated him, even the teachers. I felt bad for him at first, but then I realized that he was an asshole and stopped giving a fuck.
