Okay, I have a project that requires me to make a calender with a event planner on the side using a GUI. I need to be able to switch months and enter in text, etc. However the teacher is making us use classes, which I hate cause I have no clue how to use them, even after looking up multiple sources. SO my question is, how do they work?

Yeah, got that, but I was wondering how to use them. I basically need to use a class that will save text I enter into a file I name.
