First, just to establish some identity, not that it's important now, but I'm the one who started the FIOC and My Other Car... memes. The former was in the Bad Things about Python thread, the other in the Programmer's Jokes thread. This was over a year ago.

Over the past 12 months, my depression has escalated to the point where I can't think straight anymore. I'm an anti-social loser, I've pretty much alienated myself to the point where it's too late to change. The few friends I do have, I've treated like shit. I wish they knew how sorry I am.

I've been here before, you can easily search subjects.txt for /prog/ riders. The phrase ``/prog/ riders'' is based upon a chiptune called ``hello sid-riders!'' Jogeir Liljedahl, if anyone's interested.

You probably shouldn't kill yourself. Just take the opportunity to do all the things you never let yourself do, and do them well. If you don't fear death, you shouldn't fear failure.
