Hello /prog/rammers,

Can somebody please tell me what xkcd stands for?

Thank you very much.

Nothing.

I'm just going to nip this one in the bud.

>What does XKCD stand for?
It's not actually an acronym. It's just a word with no phonetic pronunciation -- a treasured and carefully-guarded point in the space of four-character strings.

You'll save yourself the rage by reading this condensed version:

1: xkcd sucks
2: No it doesn't. As an approved pop-geek (That's a geek defined by popular culture), I would be terribly lost without a frame of reference for all my cliche, drawn out, uninteresting, makes-good-conversation-because-it's-simple-but-geeky, bullshit, the same bullshit that we never tire of because it has a place in popular culture, thus self-consciously elevating itself above everything else on the internet. Also don't forget that it makes copious usage of retired 4chan memes. Please don't forget. If you forget then there won't be anybody to share a common interest with.
3: #2 is your typical xkcd fanboy. thread over.
4. oops, forgot my sage
