I'd like to reiterate that I have, quite on the contrary, read my SICP today.

Why is it so impossible to paste teh REASON and get the right wall?

That's not what I'm saying at all. I read it because it's popular. It sucks. I'm actually man enough to admit that I got tricked into reading a shitty book. Unlike you idiots, who can't do that so you try to convince yourselves that it's actually a good book.

The Illuminatus! Trilogy is a good book.

Yes, it is. Yet I preferred the sequel.

I read it, no one ever suggested it to me, and I enjoyed it greatly. Perhaps you were too taken with all the hype you received and it simply did not live up due to your high expectations and said hype?
The Illuminatus! Trilogy is a series of three novels written by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson purportedly between 1969 and 1971[1], and first published in 1975. The trilogy is a satirical, postmodern, science fiction-influenced adventure story; a drug-, sex- and magic-laden trek through a number of conspiracy theories, both historical and imaginary, which hinge around the authors' version of the Illuminati.
So in other words, it's just like reading SICP

I had no influences telling me to read it. I downloaded it as part of a cyberpunk torrent, printed out the text file, and put it in a binder. I read it in two days. It was cool and a good cyberpunk book, while being mostly without deeper meaning.
But hey, life has no meaning, why should art?

Hear hear. Art is just entertainment that's too deep for you.*

It's actually quite strange; I looked up Snow Crash at my school's library website, and apparently it was just ordered a few days ago. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
