Computer Science vs. Computer Engineering

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-02 13:07

I'll assume most of you programmers have a CS degree. However computer engineering is starting to interest me more, mainly because I hear engineers earn way more. In the course catalog both degree programs share a lot of classes, with CS focusing more on languages and CE more on hardware. I'd like to code, but I'd like a good salary too. Also (dare I ask), where does the title "software engineer" fit under, CS or CE?

Considering that only the US and Canada even have AP classes, I doubt it.
Though from what I can tell, AP Calculus covers about the same things as we saw in basic Mathematics in high school anyway.
