Xilinx Virtex-4 Development Board LCD

Does anyone here know how to use the LCD peripheral on a Xilinx Virtex-4 ML403 Embedded Platform development board? So far I've been able to get the LEDs and the buttons in the lower left working, as well as the serial connection to the Windows HyperTerminal (which slows execution like a bitch). I really want to use that LCD though... There's nothing built into the Xilinx EDK about using it, and according to the manual for the board, the LCD doesn't use the GPIO like the LEDs and buttons. Anyone here use one of these boards and know how to work the LCD?
