Pause/Break. I'd say Insert, but it's useful in BEFUNGE.

Pause/Break saved me from the cruel effects of pipebomb.bat recently. And WindowsKey+Pause/Break brings up the System control panel, which is somewhat useful. Insert is most useful in a hex editor or when drawing ASCII art, to toggle insert and override modes.
I think SOH and ETX have been obsolete since 1976.

The FUNCT key is only marginally useful on my keyboard, and I still haven't needed to use the stupid OVS key since I figured out what it's for.

F1. Not because there's anything wrong with the key, but it's beyond me why everyone thinks it should be the "help" key. No one ever presses it except by mistake, and now they've got to wait while the help browser starts up and obscures what they were doing.

the break key is used on sparcs to boot from cd, the pause key is used in terminals to scroll up
i'd say the most useless key on a keyboard is caps lock, i've even turned it off and made it my meta key for the window manager so it doesn't fuck up any other programs and their meta keys, i've had it turned off for over 3 years now and never looked back once
everytime you see a keyboard in a school or office caps lock is the cleanest key, the one with the most color still on it from no one pressing it
so i nominate caps lock among nerds, but among civs i'd say it varies, prolly break/pause

the cleanest key, the one with the most color
aren't those mutually exclusive?

Now that you mentioned this, I had a look at my keyboard. The cleanest keys seem to be the arrow keys, which I probably use most.
On the other hand something seems to be growing right in the center of F8, so I suppose I use that one least.
