Hello /prog/ers the lack of discussion of SICP is troubling to me. Have visitors stopped reading/watching lectures? Have all the members gained complete understanding of said book/lectures?
Also what about SICM?
Let us make an effort to discuss these and other teachings of sussman's.

If by ``/prog/'' you mean ``some wankers who think that Anonymous is something more than undisclosing one's name'', and by Linux you mean ``Anonix'', and by ``wrote'' you mean ``tried but failed to write'', then I agree.

SICP has too many words. If they edited a little harder it would be a great book.

Can someone with the physical copy scan figures 2.9 through 2.14 and post them on /hr/ or something? The ones I have are rather low-res and pixelated, and they can't be vectored.

I'm not
>>67, but I don't see a SICP thread in /hr/ so I'm assuming he hasn't delivered yet.
The problem with thick books is that it's hard to get clean scans without cutting them up, and thin paper doesn't combine with dark pictures on the other side well.
Still, nothing Photoshop and/or low standards won't fix.
Here's my (unedited) effort:

If someone else has the ability to do better, for the love of god do.

Thanks. Photoshop should definitely be able to clean them up and resize them (currently, ONE of those images is larger than the PDF of the entire book!)
Hmm... so it does look like
wave is vectorable. The best quality I had made it look otherwise:

``Let's use obscure archiving formats and force everyone to install some useless piece of software, just to save save asymptotically zero bytes in the progress'' is just another way to say ``OMG OPTIMIZED''.
