I went to have dinner at my dads place together with my siblings.
My dad says "You have 30 minutes to write a parser for Python in C and eat your food". I ask him for the formal specifications and he gives me the BNF. So I try to code the parser by rearranging my potatoes and sure enough, none of us get it done.
"See? Writing a parser is hard!" my dad exclaims.
"No, Python's syntax is just too complex." I say.
"What the fuck are you talking about, Python is way simpler than some languages like Perl."
"Well the Algorithmic Language Scheme is much simpler and it's the BEST LANGUAGE EVER!!" I exclaim and I stuff a cudder down his throat.
