Common Lisp Implementations

With all the talk about lisp on this website, especially SICP, I've decided to give it a shot. I want to learn common lisp though, not scheme. What's the best (free) setup on Windows XP?

PLT Scheme / MzScheme / DrScheme.

If you don't know which implementation to use the answer is sbcl.

SBCL is pretty good, but for some people, ClozureCL(CCL) is also a good choice, especially in OP's case (good Windows support, free). SBCL is actually quite fine on Windows, but it lacks threading on Windows (unless you're willing to use some experimental ports), and has some issues when it comes to signal handling (I'm talking about Unix signals here(like Control-C), not CL signals).

Age your post if you're replying seriously, bro. Sage it when you shitpost.

It was already on the front page, and not worthy of a bump, besides my answer is pointless: OP posted the question in 2008, it's 2010 now.
