Why would you have any other hobbies? I have lots of hobbies -- networking, security, theory, and practical programming.

Sometimes I wish I had some boring filler ❝interests❞ to pull out on the few occasions when I encounter people IRL.  Then I remember that paying attention to those things makes me feel dead inside, so I gb2 the computer.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-26 18:17

I have many hobbies. I often lurk on haxMYanus and I program.

 What more could I need?

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-26 18:21

I like lurking in /b/ and trolling sepplers in /prog/, like OP has been doing constantly.

You can talk about your latest pornvideo or how you haxed my anus last night.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-26 18:43

I downloaded some CP the other day that a /b/tard ripped off youtube before it was deleted.  It reminds me of how I haxed >>19's anus last night.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-26 19:25

I hax anii, and moralfag in my free time.

Name: HAX MY ANUS MEME FAN 2008-05-26 19:39

I am pleased to see many of my fellow /prog/rammers also enjoy haxing anii as a hobby.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-26 19:50

Sometimes when asked if I have any hobbies, I just make something up, like for example my friend asked me why I couldn't come to his birthday party the other day. I told him that I was going on a hiking trip. Instead, I sat at home and read SICP and programmed a small project I am working on in C.

Your counter seems to have overflowed good sir. It should, of course, display a much higher number.

8-BIT UNSIGNED INTEGER!!!!!

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 9:37

>>26,28
The concept of "overflowing" does not apply to unsigned integers, so YOU FUCKING FAIL YOU DISGUSTING PIECE OF SHIT GOD DAMMIT

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 9:52

Sure it does. If it didn't, we'd all be using real universal Touring machines instead of the approximations we have today.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 10:21

>>30
No, it doesn't.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 10:30

>>29
>>31
Yes it does. Take 2-bit uint variables a and b which both contain decimal 2 (binary "10"). If you do a+b you get binary "00"; overflow.
I think I may have been trolled.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 10:37

>>30
But we do use Touring machines all the time! C++ is a perfectly touring-complete language, according to my book.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 11:32

>>33
However, the computer it's running on has finite memory, and thus, fails to qualify.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 11:39

Computers are insignificant.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 12:12

I'm sorry but I run the latest Windows Vista operating system so I can add an infinite amount of memory whenever I want.

My computer qualifies.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-27 12:21

The only functional universal Touring machine we had has died of laziness and various digestive organ failures.

Terrible !!

How can it be Touring complete when it only targets machines with fixed-size pointers?
