I'm playing online strategy game trough bowser and It's pain in the ass checking account every 1 hour and clicking same buttons all the time
I want make it automatic

PS I'm using windows XP SP2

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 10:15

It doesn't work that way. Go make yourself taller.

Now you have two problems.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 10:17

You are not going to get anything useful from this board.
Read SICP. This place is only for those who achieved satori. You will have to program your replicator yourself.

So stop playing browser games and start reading books.

Oh, and using automated clients is forbidden in virtually all games.

wireshark is good for capturing packets.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 10:24

You know what? This shitty thread dies now. GUI AUTOMATION, YOU MORON. LOOK IT UP.

you think that I don't know it's forbidden?

don't tell me that there is no program like this
I remember that peoples was using one program to supervise sent packets, where it was sent and so on to crack online game launcher for private server (old times)

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 10:30

>>6
This program peoples was using is wireshark, as I stated in my post.

Your browser game sends different packets every time.
You will get nothing by replicating packets. Install wireshark, analyze them, and write your own client with a language of your choice.

I laugh at you, at your idea why we won't help you. You are wrong, you won't get help not because it's illegal.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 11:11

Don't be a fucking idiot, OP.  It's much easier to automate the keyboard/mouse or use wget or some shit.

Why the fuck do technical plebes always try to come up with the most roundabout fucking weird way to do shit?  lrn2lrn fucker.

He won't get help because nobody here can help him.

The ``can'' is ambiguous.

Automating mouse/keyboard means you'd have to sit in front of monitor like an idiot and watch things scroll.

Your dumbness shows in that post.

What the fuck is your definition of "automating" if it requires you watching shit?  gb2 whatever the fuck rock you crawled out of

I need to use program that will simulate browser and won't affect playing game for example

If you can't use 2 browsers simultaneously, then you're shit outta luck without serious hacking, which you are obviously incapable of.  If you CAN run 2 browsers, automate the second fucking browser and don't bother dicking about with the network streams.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 11:59

If it's not a javascript-based browser, it would be possible to use a web scraping library, which often makes certain tasks very simple.

Are you not, by responding, being trolled? Or perhaps you are trolling me?

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 12:18

NOT YOUR PERSONAL PROGRAMMING TASKFORCE.

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 13:27

what the fuck is this board about?
I gave you simple problem: I need to record information sent to game server that never change (like searching in google for potato every 1 minute)

yet I don't want to interfere it with normal computer using
idiotic recording moves program you can stick yourself deep in the ass

Name: Anonymous 2008-05-18 13:59

You must have been misguided. This board is about progressive rock (and we occasionally talk about the structure and the interpretation of computer programs). You might want to ask your question here : http://img.7chan.org/pr/

You are comparing your browser-based game to searching for ``potato'' every one minute?

Sounds like you need to get a browser based game that is... fun, not absolutely boring.

I'd recommend KoL, but that's just me.

Please, stop letting this guy troll you.

BROWSER GAMES COMMUNICATE OVER HTTP. WHILE CAPTURING THE TCP PACKETS THAT CONTAIN HTTP TRAFFIC IN IT AND WRITING A UTILITY TO "REPLAY" THEM IS TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE, IT IS FUCKING DUMB TO DO SO. LET ME GUESS, YOU USED TO HEAR FAIRX THE HAXXOR TALKING ABOUT HOW HE DID THAT TO WRITE HIS RAGNAROK ONLINE HAXX AND YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD DO THE SAME FOR BROWSER GAMES?

YOU CLEARLY ARE A MORON.

ASSUMING THE GAME DOESN'T USE FANCY XMLHTTPREQUEST SHIT, WHAT YOU WANT IS TO DO IS CAPTURE THE HTTP REQUESTS (I'LL GIVE YOU THIS PROTIP FOR FREE: GOOGLE LIVEHTTPHEADERS) YOUR BROWSER SENDS WHILE YOU DO YOUR SHIT, WRITE IT ALL DOWN AND THEN IT'S A 15 MINUTES SHELL SCRIPT WITH NOTHING BUT CURL. AND THIS IS COUNTING WITH THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO READ CURL'S MAN PAGE. IF YOU NEED SOMETHING MORE ADVANCED THAT DOES DIFFERENT THINGS DEPENDING ON THE OUTPUT, IT'S ABOUT 30 MINUTES WITH PERL + LWP.

IF YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO DO THAT, YOU SHOULD JUST QUIT PLAYING YOUR SHITTY BROWSER GAME.

NO ONE TOOK YOU SERIOUSLY BECAUSE INSTEAD OF ASKING HOW TO REACH YOUR GOAL AND WAIT FOR AN ANSWER ("How do I perform actions automatically on a stupid browser game?"), YOU ASKED HOW TO IMPLEMENT YOUR RETARDED "SOLUTION" INSTEAD.

FINALLY, WELCOME TO /prog/. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET USEFUL ANSWERS IN THE WAY YOU WANT THEM TO BE.

Oh but that is surely very easy. Just get the output of tcpdump, pipe it through sed, and make it call netcat in a bash loop. Piece of cake.
