Atomic Operations >:3

Name: LavosPhoenix 2008-04-08 2:54

Ok, I originally planned to use Linux's /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.xx-xx-generic/include/asm/atomic.h so my atomic implementation would be portable across all the archs the Linux Kernel covered, however it does not seem to be a normal user includable header, considering the errors and such I get with  trying to include it, unless I'm making a mistake somewhere.

So, I found out about libatomic-ops, which has some atomic operations defined, for a number of archs, however, the only atomic bitwise function it has is or, so what does /prog/ suggest I use for atomic operations?

Alternatively, If somebody knows why the atomic.h I described above does not work, please tell me.

Most likely it requires some sort of -D.
Also try -posix n shit.
You're a faggot.

Why does it have to be an atomic operation
