Moot is looking for expert programmers

Name: Anonymous 2008-04-07 10:17

Are you a talented programmer local to New York, NY – Palo Alto, CA – or Richmond, VA?
If so, feel free to e-mail a resumé to moot@4chan.org along with a list of reasons why you don't suck.
Hell, if you work in advertising/marketing/PR/etc. or something like that, shoot me an e-mail as well.
Note: This is just a feeler. Don't expect a response, seriously. Also if you stink at programming, only know Java, or are remotely new to it ("HURR I'M IN CS101!"), please don't waste my time. Oh, and please don't attempt any sort of humor at all. Thanks!

What is moot trying to do here? Everyone knows you don't need half a brain to hack a imageboard script, maintain GNAA/Lunix servers or design a Web 2.0 website. Did he get that much money from ads that he's now able to start his own start-up company?

If I ever see Yotsuba Channel, Inc. in NASDAQ, I'm going to throw myself from a building.

Or is he just trying to score a job by pretending he's interested in programmers, when all he wants is contacts?

4chan's running some form of BSD, most likely FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE.
