What a stupid answer. When I think ``beginner" I think of someone who has no knowledge of any language, nor language paradigms, nor ``abstract bullshite". Therefore, the new developer's experience should not be based on what he wants to do, but rather the correct way to do it.

Now, whether or not λISP, C/C++, C#/JAVA, etc. are the best tools, who knows? But a programmer shouldn't zone in on one language until you've learned best practices.
