that is why i know hello world in over 50 different languages but not much more in anything other than bash(yes i know thats not really a programming language). how does i fix it?

It's not as bad as you think. Get SUB as well, and then you too can be an Expert Assembly Programmer.
Seriously, don't worry about it. If you're having fun, what more can you ask for? And go through the official Python tutorial. You can read through it in like a day, and have an almost complete understanding of the syntax and semantics of a powerful language, in case you need to do something actually useful one day.
