| |there's a theory that once you get cancer, you can never cure it. Once the new people take over the posting before learning the established culture of the board, everything inevitably and eternally goes to shit. the avant-garde leaves and what is left is a slashdot, a digg, a kuro5hin, ... so how do you react?
* you do what you always do: spread the shit cancer memes without really contributing anything to anything because you don't care about the board
* you look for higher grounds, try to outrun the cancer
* you recognize yourself as once having been cancer yourself, and meditate on the consequences of that to achieve satori.
* all of the above
