I'm trying to get Oekaki working for my own personal use, and I've downloaded Shi-Painter. My problem is that it seems to require a file "getpic.cgi". I don't know anything about Perl, I'm coding my website in PHP, and I don't have any idea how to make it work. I also can't find an example getpic.cgi anywhere.
How does the Oekaki program send the file up to the server? Does it submit it as a file for uploading or some sort of voodoo with streams or what? Can I get a PHP alternative? If there's no way to implement a PHP alternative, can someone point me to an example getpic.cgi so I can just copypasta it and get it over with?

Heard a bunch of idiots talking in class today. I can't remember what all they were talking about, but nothing they said was something you wouldn't hear on a news program. Stuff about how the country wasn't ready for a woman president etc...
I just had to say "God fucking damn it, you realize you're just parroting what you heard on TV, right?" And they were talking about it, acting like it was as meaningful a conversation as what any intellectual would talk about.
This was the same kid though whose big ambition was to get a creative writing degree... You know, like there's any job you can get with one you can't get without one.
MAybe besides teaching...
