My sister accidentally deleted some pictures on our digital camera that she really wanted so i took the memory card from the camera and used O&O DiskRecovery on it to get the photos back.
unfortunately for some reason it spit out a bunch of 6kb jpeg files that don't show anything, and a bunch of .VB files with varying sizes from 2000kb to 3000kb. I'm thinking that the .VB files are the deleted pictures but i can't figure out how to extract an image from them.
anyone have any ideas how to get these picture back? when she deleted them i made sure she didn't use the camera again so i think theoretically the data is still there but not accessible. why it all came back as .VB files is beyond me.
The camera is a sony DSC-S700 using a memory stick pro duo card, if that helps at all.

... umm... ok... it was a simple question. i'm no EXPERT PROGRAMMER so i have no idea about what you mean about hex-mode. no need to get your panties in a twist. but i prolly shouldn't feed the troll
i'll use photorescue, but i still donno what you mean by hex-mode if that's even an actual answer.
whoops. disregard that i sucks cocks. i just looked up the word 'kopipe'. i musta missed the day in class when that came into existence as a replacement word for meme
can someone break the bonds of the general board topic and lend a hand? i'd be much obliged.

It's not so much bonds. It's more that if we wanted to talk about that shit we'd be in /comp/. Since we'd rather spout memes and insult each other, we come here instead. You don't understand /prog/.
