When I use an editor, I don't want eight extra KILOBYTES of worthless
help screens and cursor positioning code! I just want an EDitor!!
Not a "viitor". Not a "emacsitor". Those aren't even WORDS!!!!
ED! ED! ED IS THE STANDARD!!!

I would seriously take ed over notepad anyday.

Same. Notepad is for ``programmers'' who can't remember what they're working on. Plus somehow it manages to have fewer features than ed. All ed needs is a little extensibility. It's probably time to resume work on my edmacs program.

I was actually thinking "Cledmacs" since I'm writing it in CL. Better?

Yeah, but when you say it and it's not correct, that makes you wrong and an idiot. And ugly.

Actually, when you say Perhaps the same could be said of all X, it implies that not only was your opponents statement correct, but it also applies to all other elements of the subject.

And when you make that statement and you're wrong, that makes you incorrect and an idiot. And ugly and you smell.
