Windows-based text editor

Okay /prog/, give me your favourite windows text editor. Preferably something free/open source with syntax highlighting support for Python and css, and suited for multiple-window project   work.

In before vi, emacs, etc.

I'm in bed, editing my Emacs at the moment.
