I've never been to /comp/ before, but my curiosity overtook me today.

What awaited me were threads about hiding keyloggers in images, MSN accounts being hacked and people who can't tell apart dropdown menus from combo boxes.

But they're not serious, are they?

They're all just joking and trolling, right?

Looks like someone didn't read what the OP posted.

Summed up, he was saying that /comp/ is what /prog/ would be if we watched the movie Hackers instead of reading SICP when we were young.
