Legality of software development

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-12 12:53

So I am a college student, and at my job I made a php website that would be beneficial to where I work. Recently, they have asked me for it. The thing is, programming is definitely NOT part of my job description, and my friend suggested that I should not just give it to them, possibly sell it to them.
I'm not really up with the legality of all this, was wondering if anyone knew.

Ok, so lets get to work without business managers. Oh wait, how are we to budget the resources we need to get the work done? How are we to know when to get something out there asap instead of refactoring code to perfection? Programmers without a deadline WILL refactor code to perfection. Even programmers with a deadline often take far too long to code their solutions. Of course, with everything in life, there are arseholes that don't know the right way to manage aspects of their life - and this includes both managers and programmers.
