to work

Hey. I want to work in programming, but I don't want to go to college for it. I believe I can learn such a thing faster/better with the internet/books/myself as teacher.

I have the math skills, up to calculus, and have done HTML, C++. C#, JS. But never became a master in any of them. I'm wondering what is most in-demand and best way to get a foot in the door.

Maybe I will get involved in that CivII source code deconstruction project.

About certifications though what certification are there for programming??
