Fun In Computer Classes

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-29 0:16

Lots of things to do in Computer Class if your teacher doesn't watch you alot.

Notepad on a limited computer: Open Internet Explorer and click View->Source.

Command Prompt on a limited computer: Open notepad and type "command.com" (without the quotes) and save it as (filename).bat, then open it.

Send a message to every computer on the school network: Type the code "net send * (message)" (no quotes) in Command Prompt. Replace (message) with whatever you think the teachers should know (I used lololol).

Other Computer's C Drive: In Command Prompt, type net use (letter): \\(computer name)\CDISK
Replace letter with any letter that's not already being used (can't use C, D, etc.), and the computer name obviously goes where (computer name) is. There should be another drive with the letter you replaced (letter) with.

Remote Shutdown: Type shutdown \i in Command Prompt. You can change the reason for shut down to whatever you want, just add computers to the list.

Registry Editing: Open notepad and type any of these codes, then save them as .reg's and open them:

Me too.
These are just some simple things to do to piss off the computer department for bored kids.

Kids who do that should be kicked out of school and made to turn tricks (writing VB, PHP, etc.) for food.

On what retarded school do you take computer classes? No notepad wtf? what was the system administrator thinking.

That batch files run by students are usually malicious and should not be run?

So rather than actually securing the system, he opted to do a half-assed non-job for which he should really have been fired?

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-29 22:58

Yup.
But you can't expect the people at school to be educated, much less computer saavy.
But since he was lazy, I gots to use net send * lololol

So basically this is a worthless thread because it only applies to your particular school and its incompetent sysadmin. GTFO.

This statement is false.

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-29 23:58

>>14
I'm sure it could apply to many more schools until they start blocking the commands.

This isn't even programming, this is cheap tricks on DOS-based Windows versions (or newer Windows where the normal users are running as administrator due to sysadmin incompetence)
