Dear /prog/,
I work as an account programmer at a small mid-western call center for $12.5 per hour. When a client wants a call center agent to ask some specific question to determine if a boiler problem needs to go to the HVAC tech or to the plumber, I'm the one who programs the script for that. I don't have a degree, only a 2 year certificate from a no-name tech school, but I'm the only person who works there that can make that happen. Is that a fair wage or am I getting screwed?
