IP Spoofing

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-23 4:52

Been trying to change the TCP Header Source IP-Address field in my packets for couple days now. But it seems to be quite hard. I need to do a HTTP Request with Spoofed Source IP-Address. If possible could it be done for Curl?

EXPERT FAGGOT

I need to do a HTTP Request with Spoofed Source IP-Address.

Cannot be done. Go fuck yourself.

It isn't that simple (no matter if with or without Curl). If the server you are targeting is using the right OS it is basically impossible.

1) Learn HTTP
2) Learn TCP
3) Learn Socket Programmer
4) Implement TCP

Now it's utterly trivial.
Why hasn't everyone done all this stuff?
Stupid kids these days want everything for free.
If you haven't put the work in you will get nowhere.

but they're so hard to figure out!

Write your own TCP/IP stack, faggot.

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-24 22:58

It is possible with proxies.  Also, sane providers won't allow you to send packets with fake sauce address (at least which is not in your segment).

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-24 23:53

What is a good language to write TCP/IP code at a low level?

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-25 1:19

SI

All languages are equally awkward in this case.

Actually, sane providers won't give a shit what address you send your packets out with because it's not their job and they'd rather use the processing power of their routers for actually useful things instead of unnecessary filtering.

Yeah, right, let's not give a fuck about security and spoofing
and idlescan and shite like this and play some fucking PONG
on free CPU power on Cisco routers.
Kill yourself you fucktard.

Retards who have no clue how ISPs work and probably can't offer an explanation as to why spoofing works from pretty much every ISP out there either.

You fail at Reality 101.

(Additionally, >>15 fails at understanding security too)

O rly?  The one I work for doesn't allow any silly spoofing like changing source address and I am sure of it because I was the one who noticed lack of anti-spoofing filtering.  It was 4 years ago, and it wasn't uncommon even back then.  I wonder why retards like you think that if their shitty ISP doesn't do something useful then this something isn't useful at all.
