C Linker error

Fun little linker error I can't seem to fix.  any suggestions?

Write the damn function

the prototype:
char *get_next_line(FILE *fpntr);

The references the errors are to:
checkMe = get_next_line(fpntr);

the function w/o its meat:
char *get_new_line(FILE *fpntr)
{}

oh wait.... FUCK ME!!!! GOD DAMN I'm a dumbass...
