I think it's halfway done now, because pstree now shows

├─xterm───zsh───makepkg───fakeroot───makepkg───make───sh───make───sh───make───ghc-6.6.1───gcc───cc1

instead of

├─xterm───zsh───makepkg───fakeroot───makepkg───make───sh───make───ghc-6.6─┬─gcc───cc1

Hm, it broke at the end, so I'm recompiling it with -OMG CFLAGS.

Okay, that didn't work either.

After taking a look at the Gentoo ebuild [1], I give up.
