fast language?

i'm looking to computer a few things, but i need a very fast programming language that isn't too complicated to learn. i don't need anything beyond the simple things such as methods/functions, file I/O, etc.

any suggestions?

good GOD man, what is wrong with you? i'm not talking about optimizing code. i am not talking about time complexity. if you were aware of what i am actually asking, you would realise that in a problem which has time complexity O(f(n)), i'm looking for a way to make the calculation of n=a as fast possible, NOT to improve f. fuck's sake.
