Is DeVry a decent college?

I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard, and in Illinois, the ARNG pays full tuition. I can go to any college in the state of Illinois for free. I want to design video games for a living. Not just program them, I want to dabble in everything so I can make it my own style of game. Would DeVry be good for this? Or would you suggest another college?

Honestly Devry sucks, its not a reel college, dont bother going there you can even get a real degree. If you want to make game get a degree in computer science and make some games in your spare time, using a free engine like Ogre http://www.ogre3d.org/ or similar, or perhaps a cheap engine like Torque http://www.garagegames.com/ If you are going to make a game, make a good outline of what needs done and estimate a timeframe and try to get deadlines met. Also Making a game by yourself is not any easy thing and it will take ALOT of time.

Get a real degree. No offense, but no game developer studio has much respect for this. If you REALLY want to work on games, create your own in your spare time. You don't need to make them polished like the Blockbusters, but you want to show off your skills. You also want a degree in Computer Science or a related field, say Software Engineering, or Mathematics. Companies have their own ideas, you'd pretty much just be around to bring those to life.

Want to design your own commercial games? Get millions of dollars to pay programmers to assist you and shit. Publishing would be even more expensive, if you choose to publish your own games.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it 'the terminator'. First I crouch down in the shower in the classic 'naked terminator traveling through time' pose. What you guys aren't understanding is that is there is a large difference between attack and defence.

Defending your country is honourable, right and quite necessary due to potential conquest. Attacking other countries that pose no tangible threat is disgraceful behaviour.

I'm happy to support soldiers who engage in the former, indeed I am proud of them for it.

But I have nothing but contempt for those who go forth and mindlessly attack. Indeed, I have the utmost respect for those few recent conscientious objectors who risked imprisonment and other punishments to make their moral point.
