Seriously javascript sucks, there are plenty of languages for server side scripting.

Netscape already tried that many years ago, and it failed. Not because the language sucked (it has sucky automatic type conversion (like Perl or PHP, always a failure), sucky arrays and sucky fors, and maybe sucky objects in the sense that you have magic inenumerable methods and forbidden keys, but it has first-class functions, lexical scoping, closures, function expressions, good syntax, and flexibility), but because it lacked any library to do anything.
