I like reading old threads. They are archived for a reason.
That the main advantage /prog/ has over /g/
Every thread is archived and can be replied anytime.
Threads do not expire.

Why do you need a script?
Is this thread somehow important?

I've seen old threads that have been bumped without the oldest post being stamped with a current timestamp. This is the fifth time I've witnessed this event. The other times were on different boards and I have come to conclude that this is either a Shiichan bug or Vacbob-sama has beet tolling us.
