Proper quotes

Why are man pages and EXPERT PROGRAMMERS using ``'' to quote something? srlsy, it's "gay".

'' are decent quotes.

If you want to use symmetrical quotes, which, for documentation, I'll advise against, use “”, or even `´, or even <>, which are not semantically correct as defined by Unicode but still acceptable, or consider other symmetrical quotes defined in the Universal Character Set, but never use the ugly gay and wrong shit that `' is.
