torrent help

so prog, I just got satellite internet and when I try to download a torrent it will only download at 0.2kb/s, but If I download anything besides a torrent, my average speed is about 200kb/s. I've tried uTorrent and Bitcomet but no matter what Connection type I have them set to they still download at mega slow speeds. Can someone Please help me?
