Compiling header files

I made a hash table in C. But I forgot what compiler options i require to compile it.

I have Dev c++ and windows visual c++ 6.0, and niether work

gcc -W -Wall -ansi -pedantic *.c -o foldername

You're not supposed to compile headers.
