Infinite recursion, stack overflow.
Also, your string isn't properly enclosed in quotes.

That won't compile because the file isn't capitalised properly. Should be HelloWorld.java.

Name: Anonymous 2007-04-22 13:16 ID:o1D2GKUA

it'll compile just fine on gay-ass operating systems with case insensitive filesystems.

Such as Win95? As far as I remember from my Java class --and I have tried hard to forget-- case mattered on NT.

Case-insensitive is good, because a lowercase letter is not a different idea than an uppercase letter. The human mind remembers letters, not (easily) casing. I wish Lunix were case-insensitive, but the ancient UNIX nazis are obsessed with case-sensitiveness to the point of making every case-insensitive feature they're compelled to include hard to use and never default.

I agree. Case-insensitive, case-preserving (like HFS+, which sucks in many other ways, though) is how it should be.

ohshits it's case sensitive! we should all use inches, feet, miles, ounces and pounds instead!

Troll. For symbolic use, especially in Maths and Physics, it's common to give single letters different names. However, for general names such as those used as filenames, you don't need or even want to make a distinction.
