Is it possible to train ducks to work like machine code? Certain Ducks are trained to be MOV ducks, others are trained to be ADD ducks and of course we need ducks for all the other instructions. A simple OS out of a turing complete set of ducks would be win.

Biologists are experimenting with controlling certain types of fungi in a predetermined manner using light sources and what not. I don't think you could train ducks to behave exactly how you want all the time, however fungi can do this.

Now that you mention it, it would be an interesting idea to implement a turing machine biologically.

I've implemented one. It's useless. It's very very slow and not even Touring-complete.
