MySQL has a NULL-safe comparison operator <=> .

SELECT 1 = 1 yields 1
SELECT 1 = 0 yields 0
SELECT 1 = NULL yields NULL (stupid SQL)
SELECT 1 <=> NULL yields 0
SELECT NULL <=> NULL yields 1
SELECT 1 / 0 yields NULL (it should yield INFINITE)

(0**-1) & (0**-1) = 9223372036854775808 because mysql says so.
