Less than a 50% larger, and offering far more than 50% more features, I say edit.com wins ed by large. I wonder why is ed so big.

Name: Anonymous 2007-03-25 19:27 ID:pkXjPTrU

Does edit.com have regular expressions? No? I rest my fucking case.

Name: Anonymous 2007-03-25 20:47 ID:X8t7zHA1

>>4
Still, a regex engine shouldn't be that big. ed fails.

edit.com in DOS 6.2 was a miserable ~2kb (of course, it was just a redirect to qbasic.exe).

4.1.2-vroom-vroom.

P.S.  I think 2.x produces the smallest binaries.

P.P.S.  Enjoy your suboptimally optimized system ;)
