I don't know if I'm in the right board or not but I need help with making a website, i've only ever had a geocities website, and before I were to actually buy like a .com site I want to know how it would work.

I wantted to make a little online store, nothing big just selling little cute things I make, sort of like etsy.com but I don't want an etsy account.

I tried checking myself online, but all I get are bullcrap for big buisnesses thats too complicated

Yes I know i'm a noob but help would be nice.

1. Set up web server.
2. Develop / license+configure shop software.
3. License domain name.
4. Point domain name to your server.
