Anyone use it? Whats up with the syntax? o_o;

If anyone does, would you recomend it, and do you have any tips, bad experiences etc you could share?

If you want to do Cocoa or Gnustep stuff, yes, otherwise no. It's better than C++ but that's not a huge achievement.

I use it. The syntax is easy to get used to, unless your mind has been permanently damaged by other languages. But unless you're a Mac developer, why bother?

I use a mac, but have been working with straight Perl, C++ with AppKit and PHP for a while now.

I think it's more interesting to use D.

Its a very good language for object oriented programming, (and the Cocoa API is excellent, the best GUI API I have ever used)
You have things like catagories where you can add new functions to existing classes
Its also very dynamic (message dispatch) so you can edit programs which you dont have source to for very easily ^_^

[object function:parameter] is the basic "syntax" for a function call what the fuck problem do you have with that you stupid moron?
