your logic is wrong. Two positives doesn't make a negative.

microsoft OS sucks => PC sucks

BUT

linux != sucks
linux = rocks
linux => PC rocks

depending on wich OS u use, your PC either win or fail.

(that was like the old joke "study = no fail | no study = fail | 2(no) * study = 2(no) * fail | study = fail" )

MAC is not written for PC, but for MACs :|

I like PHP it's quick, easy and relatively easy to secure. It's not the best for everything but certainly better than perl for web apps... some might disagree, but I feel that perl's duty is in application programming and unix scripting, not web development.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-07 19:37

And to expand on my post (19), Perl was certainly the best we had for quick web development but I think it's been displaced by PHP since PHP has gotten so mature.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-07 20:12

You're missing the point. The fact that such a feature was written and turned on by default speaks volumes for itself.

Name: Anonymous 2008-03-09 3:58

It's been off by default since 4.2.0 (which came out eight years ago), and has been removed entirely in PHP 6.
