I can see MS is desesperate for us to use their .net platform; what do you guys think about .net? as an old Visual Basic 6 programmer, and now C/PHP/Bash programmer, I think I'll give .net a try.

Discuss about my choices.

do u need visual studio .net to write vb.net? or can u write it in notepad or whatever
