I've become the goto guy at work for all the flash stuff we do on our websites (small widgets, not monstrosities that make you hate life). All the stuff I've done in flash until now was old projects made by someone else that I maintained and hacked new features into. The new thing they threw at me is a widget I'll get to do all myself and seeing how using Adobe's Flash IDE makes me want to stab myself in the face, I thought I'd look for an alternative way to create the SWFs.
Here's the alternatives I've seen:
- haXe
- OpenLaszlo
- FDT with Eclipse (I already use Eclipse for other stuff, so this would be nice)
Does anybody have any experience with any of this stuff, or any other alternatives?
