easy languages

can anyone recommend me a php-like programming language?
a language with lots of built in functions, mixed type variables, automatic memory handling and preferably the java/c/php style structure.

i've done php for a couple of years and i have always wanted to start doing C++, but everytime i try it, it seems to hard to me and i never manage to write an error-free code :(

commandline is all i need as an output. no need for windows or graphics.

no BASIC nor PASCAL please :P

Ruby sounds very interesting and the "python ideology" seems to be close to what i think. I looked some Ruby example codes and i think that i fell in love.
