HOW DOES GREP WORK? I DO NOT UNDERSTor? ALSO WHAT IS THIS ABOUT SUPER HEX or OCT? or WHAT IS THIS PERMISSIONS THING? STEP ONE: Try install Linux(I suggest Ubuntu or Debian)
STEP TWO: Buy a book on *NIX commandline/shell scripting and read documentation
STEP THREE: Grow up, start doing your work, and stop with the lame RPGMaker stuff.

Basically, you want to set your permissions to 777.  It's really secure.

Use RPGMaker 2000 to make a RPG about a student that passes all of his University UNIX exams and then just live vicariously through the RPG.

Permissions are some anal Unix shit. Lol, just kidding. They are used to tell what a user can and cannot do. You can benefit from them; don't be root until you know what you're doing.
