Flash animation tutorials?

While hunting down 2Chan flashes I've noticed on the homepages of their respective creators links to Amazon of Japan for numerous books detailing how to be an effective flash animator.

I've tried hunting down some US flash instructional books but they're either too simplistic ("If you want to animate a character's arm... then just draw the arm...") or too complicated (various pure-math actionscript wankery.

Are there any good Flash books out there?  Or any websites for that matter?

Anything you can do in flash you can do in javascript without needing obnoxious macromedia crap installed.
