anyone want to recomend a good data base solution for a small buisness? i think the standerd is that everyone just fires up microsoft acess but there's much more to it then that. yeah its an open question but i cant really think of a way to start discussing oracle or other such things

Yes. Also both are databases (technically the term is database management system; a database is just a file) unlike Access which is a children's toy that can be used for organising Pokemon cards.
